Haynes Street School

Address

Haynes Parent / Teacher Organization (PTO)

We invite all of our parents to become active participants in our school PTO, school committees and our School Site Councils. Our school is wonderful only because of the support from our families! The monthly calendar will list dates and times of all meetings. The PTO and the Staff are planning some very exciting fund- raising activities and family fun events. The money raised from these fundraisers provides our boys and girls with outstanding enrichment and educational opportunities. Please participate as a regular member or when you have available time.

attend - vote - participate

The PTO run by the Parents and Teachers, for the benefit of Students and School.  To make a difference, attend the meetings, have input, and vote on PTO decisions, and participate in the events.  It is truly fulfilling to participate in something that gives back and make our kids elementary school experience the best possible.  We will do our best to make the meetings as constructive and efficient as possible, further following Roberts Rules and this year adding the position of Parliamentarian.

PTO By-Laws
posted 2.22.2012
These are the By-laws that have been created by the By-Law Committee over the past three months.  The purpose of the By-Laws will be to establish a consistent and clear understanding of the purpose of the organization, establish officer roles, document the process for nominations and elections clearly, and present a framework that can be used for the upcoming 501C3 Non-Profit organization.
Please review and send any comments or questions to pierre@haynesstreetschool.com
