  • Get adult help for accidents and spills
  • Use all equipment and materials appropriately

Be Respectful
  • Use kind words/actions
  • Wait for your turn
  • Clean up after self
  • Follow adult directions with a positive attitude
  • Use quiet voices

Be Responsible
  • Follow school rules
  • Remind others to follow school rules
  • Take proper care of all personal belongings and school equipment
  • Be honest
  • Follow your heart and not the words of someone who is asking you to do something that you know is wrong

Be Safe
  • Keep all food to self
  • Sit with feet on floor, bottom on bench and facing table
  • Walk in a single-file line into the cafeteria

Be Respectful
  • Allow anyone to sit next to you
  • Use quiet voices
  • Stay in one area while you eat

Be Responsible
  • Raise hand and wait to be excused
  • Get all utensils, milk, etc., when first going through the line

At the Playground

Be Safe
  • Walk to all areas
  • Stay in your allowed areas
  • Be aware of activities/games around you
  • Play-fighting, chasing and tag games are prohibitied
  • What is on the ground, stays on the ground (except trash)
  • Walk on the pathways

Be Respectful
  • Play fairly by the school's rules
  • Include everyone
  • Chose one area to play and stay in the area
  • Listen to the adults/staff members and follow requests with a positive attitude
  • Use encouraging words to each other

Be Responsible
  • Use problem-solving strategies that you have learned from your teachers
  • Speak to an adult when you have a problem rather than talking behind someone's back or spreading rumors
  • Be responsible for your own actions and take responsibility for your part when there is a problem
  • Stop the game and line up immediately after the aides blow the whistle

Be Safe
  • Walk to all areas
  • Stay where you are visible to adults
  • Allow others to pass
  • Stay in your lines

  • Hold the door open for the person behind you
  • Use quiet voices

  • Stay on the sidewalks
  • Walk to-and-from your destination in a timely manner
  • Carry all your materials carefully when going from class to class

Be Safe
  • Get in and out quickly
  • Keep feet on floor
  • Keep water in the sink
  • Wash hands
  • Put towels in garbage can

Be Respectful
  • Knock on stall door
  • Give people privacy
  • Use quiet voices

Be Responsible
  • Flush toilet after use
  • Return to your room or the playground promptly. The bathroom is not an area for hanging out
  • Let an adult know if a sink or toilet is broken

  • Use a helmet and walk your bike on campus
  • Use sidewalks and crosswalks
  • Wait in designated areas
  • Use the appropriate place for pick-up and drop-off

  • Keep feet dangling or crossed in front of you
  • Keep hands on your lap and to yourself
  • Eating or drinking is prohibited
  • Walk in and out of aisles in a single-file line

Be Respectful
  • Sit quietly when someone is speaking without any side conversations
  • Walk in and out of the aisles in a line
  • Eyes should remain on the speaker
  • Allow anyone to sit next to you

Be Responsible
  • Pick up all the trash
  • Face forward
  • Show your appreciation with polite applause rather than screams or loud cheers
  • Sit quietly and wait for the assembly/speaker to begin
  • Wait quietly for dismissal
